From September 1st 2022, first levels support (DW distributor or Straumann country) will be responsible of the warranty and ownership transfer of each DELL device (laptop or PC tower) of their fleet.
The product concerned are :
- DELL laptop of Virtuo Vivo
- DELL laptop of Medit Intraoral scanner
- PC tower of Medit lab scanner
Warranty and Ownership Transfer procedure
- Open this URL with your web browser: https://www.dell.com/support/assets-transfer/fr/fr/frbsdt1#/Identify
- Select the “Single product” case (see screenshot bellow)
- Enter the device Service Tag . The service tag is either displayed on a sticker available on the PC/laptop :
or on the license details on License Generator https://licenses.dwos.com/ :
- Click on Continue
- First check that the country is set to CANADA. Otherwise it means that the warranty has been already transferred.
- If yes, fill in the boxes:
- Company Name: DENTAL WINGS INC
- Zip Code: H2T 1A8
- Click on Continue

Change the “Intended Use” to Commercial/Office

Enter the Company Name, Email, Street Address, Location, City, State/Prov/Cnty, Zip Code and Phone number

Click on Continue

Check the 1st box

Click on Continue

Once done, you arrive on a screen which valid the transfer.
