Scanning performance is poor

Issue:

  • The scan is really slow and glitchy. 
  • If you check the performance, the CPU usage is at 100% and GPU 0% when scanning.
  • This means that the software is using only the CPU to process scans. 

How to fix:

There is a setting to enable GPU usage. By enabling the GPU usage it’s made the units scan faster and smoother. 

  • Open the settings window in Medit Scan for Clinics software. 
  • Check if the option "Use GPU" is enabled. If not, enable it.

  • FYI: This option is normally enabled by default on our systems.
