Virtuo Vivo - Disable Automatic Shutdown on CART

Description: A customer would like to avoid the automatic shut down of a CART system while closing the DWIO software, without having to enable the support mode.


Solution: 

  • You need to edit with notepad++ the client.bat located at C:\Program Files\Straumann CARES (or Dental Wings) Intraoral Scanner\Software\bin\

  • Modify the tag: -Ddwos.app.autoshutdown=true by -Ddwos.app.autoshutdown=false instead
